Celebrating the first week of launch

Today is November 2nd. It has been exactly seven days or one week since the launch of the site.

There are a lot of updates to the website. The layout overall has not yet changed, and the things in the coming soon page are still not done, however, we are getting closer and closer to finishing.

In the images section, there were plenty of updates. Previously, there was a pictures section just for pictures, that has now been removed and replaced with the Scary section, for scary pictures and images. The Weird, Odd and Scary section has been renamed to Weird, Odd, and Unusual. Previously in the comics and manga section, there were a lot of comics and manga that were for mature viewers only (18 and up) but were not labeled as so. There could have been kids as young as five browsing and clicking on the mature content, now there has been a warning placed on all content for adult viewers only.

Few updates for the videos section. Previously there was a Depressing category on the videos page. After a few complaints, it was removed. No one wants to go to this website just to watch depressing videos and cry tears, people want entertainment, action, education, everything except depressing content. There have also been a lot of videos that have been removed as they were either satire and were not really in the correct category, or they were just really bad.

In addition to all the updates, all the individual sections can now be reached by typing in /category after MarsDatabase.com. Example, to get into the MarsDatabase image section without first going to MarsDatabase.com and clicking on it, just type in MarsDatabase.com/images. That will get you there instantly, and it works for all the sections, not just the currently updated ones.

First Updates After the Launch!

So these are the first few updates for the website on the second day of the launch.

Not very many updates as it is only the second day, but expect more for the days to come. The updates are as listed; in the images section, two new funny and hilarious pages were added to the funny and hilarious section.

On the videos section, three new videos were added for the How To category and the educational category.

Feel free to check these out as well on the main page of every section, they are listed under the "New Stuff" that is on the first page of every category.

Welcome to the NEW MarsDatabase!!!!

Mars Database has finally been launched! After months and months of continuously working on the site, the Mars Database Team has finally unveiled the website to the world!

You may not know this, but it was week after week, month after month that Mars Database promised to reveal itself. The original launch date was scheduled to be on July 30th, but was then pushed back to August 31st. When the count down almost reached one hour, it was changed again to September 17th. Then again to September 30th, then October 14th, October 17th, and finally the final day, today, October 24th. We, the team, are just finally happy that the website is finally here. We hope you enjoy the site, for whatever reason you use it for. It's meant to be a site which you can freely spend hours a day upon and not get bored.

We will continue to update the site every day, adding more and more content, so check back daily. Don't be surprised if one day you were looking at all the stories, reading all the stories and then finishing them all, then the next day there are suddenly hundreds more stories you haven't read before. Though that might not happen any time soon, hopefully it will near the future. Also, check out the coming soon page for more information on the upcoming updates to the website.
